I forgot the band and songs name

In a song I heard as a kid it said
                                                "Not everybody lives,
                                        1 but why would they want to,
                                this is no life just a big game for the rest,
                                 not everybody lives but every body dies,"
 I never though I would have the same though as this band's singer did, until I realized he was right.
